Nervo & Hook ‘N’ Sling – ‘Reason’ (Sevag Remix)
Considered to be one of the hottest vocal tracks to drop in recents months, Nervo & Hook ‘N’ Sling’s ‘Reason’ has been an unprecedented chart topper found in many leading DJ’s arsenals. Despite numerous attempts by various producers to properly remix the intoxicating vocal, it has been very hard to find an original rework that is truly creative and outside the realm of typical until now. Today I bring you the remix from New Jersey’s up and coming House artist Sevag. Known for his residency at the upscale nightclub Mister East and various other performances with known DJ’s such as Chuckie and Thomas Gold, Sevag is no new comer to the EDM community and you can tell with his latest release. The remix features strong percussion, excellent vocal sampling, and catchy synths that makes this an unforgettable remix that can be dropped at any time, in any set. Enjoy!
2 VIP Ticket Giveaway: “Generation WILD” Tour at Mister East February 20th
The Generation WILD tour hitting the US this February promises to be beyond your ordinary night out. For all you frisky folks out there, Generation WILD is aiming to take a bit more “hedonistic” approach, staying true to the “WILD” headline. I’m sure many of you have seen those movies with scenes at a poppin’ club or raging party where alcohol is flowing, tons of beautiful women are flooding the area in sexy attire, and an overall feeling of euphoria is demonstrated (with the help of putting the scene in slow motion). Well, this is what Generation WILD is all about – bringing that unparalleled “insane party” feeling to life.
If the theme of the party isn’t tempting enough, there is an incredibly talented lineup that will be the perfect background (or foreground) to the night. Deniz Koyu, Danny Avila, and dBerrie will be helping amp the party up to levels not seen by many at previous parties. Deniz Koyu has been a strong presence in the industry lately, creating tracks with Wynter Gordon, Fedde Le Grand, Digitalism, Zedd, and dropping one of the top tracks of 2012, “Bong”. The young and fast-rising DJ and producer Danny Avila will also be in attendance. This 17 year old Spain native has topped the most recent EDM charts with his new track “Breaking Your Fall”.
dBerrie will also be supporting his hometown on February 20th. Pachaholic has long been a fan of dBerrie, who is known for some incredibly entertaining and well-mixed sets, as well as his always fantastic remixes and original tracks.
The infamously creative photographer Kirill Was Here will be documenting the event, provoking his “wild” nature that goes perfectly with the theme of the night. Expect champagne showers, and great shots of some beautiful people doing some fancy things.
If you are around the area on February 20th, you should definitely make it out to Mister East. This is going to a party that everyone in attendance will remember (or, at least, sort of remember). You can purchase your tickets HERE. Come and see what this “hump” day is all about! Check the teaser below for more info about the event!

Pacha Hosts Otto Knows’ Highly Anticipated Return to NYC and Kastra’s Debut Performance
After one of the most memorable nights of the year at the Pier of Fear at Pier 94, Otto Knows made his return to the city that never sleeps, to host a party that would be talked about until the next time he made his way back to the New York City area. Otto Knows always brings an amazing turn out of people because it is almost as if everybody knows of the young Sweedes original songs and remixes.
When Otto Knows took the decks, everyone in attendance flooded the dance floor, and the flashes of everyone’s phones lit up the main floor as they began videoing the phenomenal introduction of his very own smash remix of Dada Life’s, Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker with the lyrics from Robin S’s, Show Me Love, which set an energy filled tone for the night, and when the beat dropped there was not a single person in the club not dancing their heart out, which continued all night long. Otto Knows kept everyone happy, dancing, and singing by playing tracks like Gregor Salto’s, Azumba, Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso’s, Calling, Swedish House Mafia’s, Don’t You Worry Child, Zedd’s, Spectrum, and a mash up of Tujamo & Plastik Funk’s, WHO with Daft Punk’s, Technologic. The song selection Otto Knows chose was so widely spread across the many sub-genres of electronic dance music. His set also included John Dahlback’s, Comet, Avicii and Nicky Romero’s hit, Nicktim, as well as both of his original tracks, Lies and Million Voices. Otto Knows closed his set with an epic bootleg mix of Swedish House Mafia’s, Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall with Porter Robinson’s, Language, into the original version of Swedish House Mafia’s, Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall.
At the conclusion of Otto Know’s set, Kastra made his Pacha debut downstairs. The rising star out of Monmouth County, New Jersey, played an unbelievable set including songs such as Tommy Trash’s, Truffle Pig and the Starkiller’s remix of Deadmau5 & Melleefresh’s, Hey Baby. If you have gotten the chance to check out Kastra you can check him out at the Kastra Music Facebook Page as well as the Kastra Music SoundCloud Page. Kastra has numerous bootlegs and original mixes, some of which include Rage Music, Vixen, and Warning. You can even download some of these songs for free using the links below. Throwback Thurs: Wynter Gordon – Til Death (Benya Brothers Remix) Free Downloads

Technically this is not a throwback because this remix was released via Soundcloud only 1 day ago. None the less this remix is a pure certified banger. Produced by Eric Benyamini and his younger brother Ori, their take on Wynter Gordon’s til death is very original. Great buildups and cool pads underneath singer/song-writer Wynter Gordon’s own personal vocals. The orignal was only released in the US, but clearly all the remixes that were made are heard around the world. Show your support from these new up & coming producers.
