The mysterious UZ and OWSLA signed Birdy Nam Nam are set to invade Webster Hall NYC this friday and are sure to blow the roof off the floor with the filthiest Trap, Hip Hop, and Electronica around. The mysterious ƱZ came up on the soundcloud scene about 4 months ago, with the amazing ŤɌ∆Ҏ ᶊῌῗ† series. With huge support from DJ’s worldwide, the likes of Diplo, Flosstradamus, JWLS, Toddla T, Baauer, and Craze to name a few, UZ’s debut EP was released on Jeffree’s, a sub-label to Mad Decent.”UZ tunes are drunken energy sub bass and cartoon horn stabs that make my stomach feel weird and my feet shuffle,” Diplo writes. Raw and powerful, but with a laid back tempo, UZ gives listeners a chance to slow down without losing momentum.

This is honestly one of the most impressive mini mixes I have heard to date. The Canadian duo Dzeko and Torres take all the best songs from 2012 and include them in one 10 minute mix. Stereosonic 2012 Launch Underway
Its that time of year again where the tension and anticipation of Australia’s biggest annual music festival gets underway. Stereosonic has everyone talking around the nation as we ever so slowly begin to reach towards our summer and festival season. The line up for the 2012 Stereo tour was released today featuring some of the biggest names in the EDM scene.
Stereo will be returning with its 5 leg tour hosting shows and kicking off in Sydney on the 24th of November, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. This year looks to be the biggest ever, with record crowds expected across all cities.
Tickets go on sale August 2nd so make sure you get your hands on some quickly because they will go.
Escapade Music Festival – Ottawa
With only 4 days to go until the second annual Escapade Festival presented by DNA gets under way, the edm heads of Ottawa, Canada are buzzing, anxiously waiting for the arrival of some of the world’s best dj’s. Ottawa Stadium plays host to this event with crowds of upto and onwards of 20 000 people expected. This two-day event is set to begin on June 30 and continue the following day on July 1 with 3 stages and 40+ dj’s running across both days.
Last years festival featured performances from Tiesto, Laidback Luke and Calvin Harris. This years festival is set to be “Bigger, Better and Louder” with some of the acts gracing the Escapade Stages including; Avicii, Afrojack, Eric Prydz, Alesso, Dada Life, Chuckie, Sander Van Doorn, Gareth Emery, R3hab and more.
Tickets are still available, having already sold 70% of all tickets to the event. For those In Ottawa and surrounding areas or others willing to make the trip over that are over the age of 16, be sure to secure a ticket soon as there is not long to go.

With another Smash hit in the making, the one and only Calvin Harris is soon to release his new song titled “We’ll Be Coming Back” featuring vocals by Example. Putting Calvin and Example in the same sentence let alone the same song proves for instant success, this success is blatantly obvious within the production of this song.
Calvin never ceases to amaze me. In my opinion, he has this ability to fulfil all the traits of a commercial song within his productions yet maintain certain elements to make them a festival and dance floor destroyer. I’m sure this song will be on repeat for a while. At times I think it is Calvin singing, their voices just sound so alike.
