Autoerotique – Bring That Beat Back (Tiesto Edit)
Review: Tiesto College Invasion Tour – Syracuse
Voted the Worlds Number 1 DJ three times by DJ Mag from 2002 – 2010, theres no doubt that Syracuse enjoyed one of the greatest shows to come to their town (No offense to the Lion King). Syracuse Oncenter was lucky enough to rage to an award winning headliner along with one of the most talked about young DJs in the game Porter Robinson.
Tiesto wanted to find a skilled enough DJ to open up for him, someone who’s talented but fresh enough to be questioned by people who don’t know much about; who is new to production/DJ game. And if you are one of those people who went to the show, not knowing who Porter was, you were in for a real treat. Porter threw it down harder then most artists out there. His song selection was incredible, and Pachaholic loves to see an artist work up a sweat. When Porter came off stage his back was soaked. Most people say ew, we say fuck yeah Porter! We love how hard he went in.
And Tiesto? Who could ever say a bad word about his shows. Always in the right venues, unbelievable light and smoke effects, and the music never fails to make your night an epic win. He loves to incorporate a bunch of his old tracks like, ‘Traffic’ and ‘Silence’ and drop some more recent tracks of the House genre, like ‘Hide & Seek’ with ‘Heiress of Valentina (Alesso Remix) Mash-up, right in the beginning of his set. Along with ‘Pressure’ and ‘Levels’ somewhere in the middle.

Tiesto Ft Kay – Work Hard, Play Hard (Autoerotique Remix):
The whole venue made you feel like you were raging in an abandoned wear-house. Walking in, felt like you were about to watch a Football game, since the ticket booth and lines were massive. As soon as you walked in everything changed, you notice how much room there was for the 5000+ fans. When Tiesto was asked, ‘why do you still plan these huge 15 month long shows, spanding over 175 dates, 6 continents, playing for over 1 million fans.
His response was “Because people care, and they see that I care. I’m very honest in what I do. It’s not an act or a gimmick. It’s pure, it’s emotion.” Whats even more great than that awesome response, is that fact that during his sets he plays way more then only his stuff. He uses many different artists vasting over many genres, from Hard Electro to soothing Progressive House.
